Responsibilities will include: teaching both introductory and advanced courses for a new program in Game Art and Design, housed in the Art Department at the undergraduate level; providing leadership for the GAD program including building and implementing new curriculum; academic advising and recruitment; work with students in department-sponsored activities; service to the University through leadership in various capacities; and contribution to the field through scholarly publications and presentations. Review of the candidates will begin on March 15 and continue until the position is filled. The position start date is before July 1, 2019.

Skill Sets:

Preference will be given to those with demonstrated expertise in Game Art/ Design, and experience building and/or implementing curriculum. 

Candidates must have state of the art current knowledge of the field as well as the ability and willingness to keep up to date with constant changing technologies.

Required are a dedication to working with students and a commitment to education in a Christian Institution. 

Education Requirements:

Minimum requirements include a Master's degree in Game Art, Game Design, or related field and/or significant experience in the field.

Preference will go to applicants who have taught at the postsecondary level and hold or are near completion of an earned terminal degree in a related field. Rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.
