About CUC Department of Theater

We are a small department of 25-30 majors and minors. As a relatively new department, we are looking for an individual who can help grow our technical theater program. We currently produce 3-4 main stage shows through our production wing (The Collective) and 2-3 student produced shows. All our faculty are professionals in the field and we pride ourselves on creating partnerships with artists across the city to expand students' education beyond the walls of the university. With a small scene shop of 2-4 workers, we have produced original works, classics, and musicals both on campus and off. Since our program began, students graduating from our program have become active members of theater in the Midwest and have also gone on to pursue postgraduate degrees.
