Concordia University Chicago is seeking qualified adjuncts to teach online and off-campus locations in our programs in the Department of Educational Technology (EDT). 


Our current need is for individuals who have the academic qualifications and technological experience to teach graduate courses on topics including hardware, peripheral devices, operating systems, application software, wired and wireless architectures, topologies, and protocols, firewalls, monitoring and managing networks at various locations in the north, west, south, and southwest suburbs of Chicago.

Requirements:
Earned doctorate in educational technology or related field preferred; earned master's in education or related field with 3+ years professional experience will also be considered
Experience planning, configuring, and maintaining computer/technology systems and related peripherals in laboratory, classroom cluster, and other appropriate instructional arrangements.

Experience analyzing procedures for the organization, management, and security of hardware and software.

Experience with configuring a computer system, configure software packages, and troubleshooting various hardware/software configurations.

Experience with systems associated with computing platforms, defaults, and other selectable features typically found in schools.

Experience supporting other professionals use of technology in K-12 settings
Experience teaching adult learners; graduate-level teaching preferred
Student-centered philosophy of teaching
Experience using Blackboard or other LMS
Flexibility to teach online as well as face-to-face classes in Chicagoland area
Excellent written and oral communication
