The College of Business at Concordia University Chicago invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the following disciplines: business intelligence and analytics for campus-based face-to-face courses, as well as online courses. We are looking for faculty to serve as subject matter experts and assist in course development.

Adjunct faculty members must have knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques appropriate to effective undergraduate teaching. The use of Blackboard is required for both face-to-face and online courses.

Adjuncts are expected to have experience teaching and course development. Adjunct professors in the College of Business are members of the Community of Practice. They will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, and participate in College teaching and learning activities. An online orientation course is required.


  • Candidates must have at least a master's degree in business intelligence and/or analytics.
  • Industry and teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with teaching students with diverse learning styles
  • Student-centered philosophy of teaching
  • Experience using Blackboard or other LMS

Note: Experience teaching students whose first language is other than English is a plus

Note: All Concordia University Chicago professors, teaching online or on-campus, will be required to attend the CUC Online Training Certificate Program. Both on ground and online teaching candidates will be required to conform to policies and procedures for teaching in the MBA program.
